Darwin Society logoThe Darwin Society holds talks on different aspects of science throughout the academic year.

The idea is to bring all scientists in ÍõÖÐÍõÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë together, hear leading scientists speak, and give scientists of all academic levels (undergraduates, graduates and Fellows) a chance to mingle and get to know each other better.

As well as the talks, there is a dinner in the College hall in Lent term, and the end-of-year garden party (photos below). The Society also organises formal dinner swaps with science societies at other colleges - it's fun to be invited as a group to formal hall at another College, and to host students at dinners in ÍõÖÐÍõÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë.

Anybody with an interest in science is welcome to join the activities (it's not restricted to Natural Sciences students).
